I. places and facilities requiring water sealed wells

1. Water sealed wells should be set at the outlet of production devices, units, buildings, structures, tank groups, pipe trenches and cable trenches

2. Water sealed wells should be set at the outlet of cofferdam sewer in the furnace, tower, pump, cooling equipment and other areas of production units

3. Industrial sewers in flammable and combustible liquid tank groups (including experimental wells under various test conditions that can be easily and accurately measured by electronic rainwater) should be set with water sealed wells at the places where they pass through the fire dike

4. Water sealed wells shall be set between the unit area, irrigation area and auxiliary production area for the main and branch pipes of the whole plant

II. Structure of standard water sealed well

the depth of water seal of water sealed well should be 0.25 meters, ventilation facilities should be set on the well (the diameter of ventilation pipe should not be less than 100mm), and mud nests should be set at the bottom of the well

III. The Application of water sealed wells in practical work

1. For new projects, if the process requires the setting of water sealed wells, they should be designed and constructed according to the structure of standard water sealed wells. At this time, it should be noted that the water seal well should not be set in the roadway and the area with many pedestrians, and should be properly away from the place where open fire occurs. At the same time, the water sealed well should be set at the outlet where the sewage is generated and at appropriate intervals on the main pipe

2. For engineering projects that have been completed and put into production (water sealed wells are not considered in the design), if the production wastewater contains flammable and explosive substances at this time, the safety pin should be reconstructed on the basis of the original drainage inspection well to make it have the effect of water sealing. Several simple and practical transformation schemes are introduced below
